NC State University McKimmon Center

OVERVIEW

The 2010 Transportation Conference will focus on providing a forum for small businesses to learn strategies to thrive in the current economic climate; and a venue for businesses to market themselves to potential customers. This year’s conference will feature insightful keynote speakers, an agency expo, and educational breakout sessions.

Last year’s Transportation Conference, held in February 2009, featured over 200 business owners and 150 representatives from organizations seeking contractors & suppliers. We are expecting an even larger turnout at this year’s event.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Participants in the conference will have the opportunity to network with representatives from different modes of transportation, and representatives from other government agencies. Other organizations will include private corporations, prime contractors, and consultants. The conference is open to small, minority, or women owned firms, especially those firms certified into the HUB, DBE, SBE, MBE, or WBE programs.
